<\/p>\nFourth-year students in the Journalism Department at the College of Media conducted a field visit to the printing presses of the Iraqi Media Network, accompanied by Professor Dr. Falah Hassan Al-Khattat. The visit aimed at gaining in-depth knowledge of printing processes and the preparation of newspapers and magazines.<\/p>\n
\u200fDuring the visit, students had the opportunity to observe all stages of printing and journalistic preparation, with employees at the press providing a comprehensive explanation of these crucial processes. This step is designed to support students, providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance their journalistic projects and graduation research.<\/p>\n
\u200fThe students also took an exploratory look at the printing achievements of the network’s presses, examining various products, including prints for the Independent High Electoral Commission. Dr. Al-Khattat commented on the visit, stating, ‘This interaction and hands-on learning will significantly contribute to developing the journalistic and media skills of students, enabling them to achieve outstanding performance in the field of media and journalism. It will also reflect on their practical understanding in developing their journalistic projects and graduation research.’<\/p>\n
\u200fHe added that ‘the visit of journalism students to the network’s presses and their direct insight into its operations will enhance their understanding of printing and journalistic preparation processes that take place before publications reach the public.’ In turn, students from the journalism department at the University of Baghdad expressed admiration for the work of the network’s presses, emphasizing the importance of the deep understanding they gained regarding journalistic preparation processes. They concluded, ‘The explanations provided by Dr. Al-Khattat and the employees at the presses are of great value.’<\/p>\n
