Dr. Tahir stated, &#8220;We are proud of our university&#8217;s excellence and distinction in this prestigious ranking, which confirms the hard work of our professors and students who strive for innovation and development.&#8221; He emphasized the importance of &#8220;this achievement in elevating the university&#8217;s status regionally and globally.&#8221; The Dean of Media added, &#8220;This ranking is an achievement that encourages Baghdad University&#8217;s entities to further serious work and continuous development in various academic and research fields,&#8221; considering it &#8220;a significant step towards building better education and a bright future for Baghdad University.&#8221; The Times ranking released the results of its special edition for Arab universities for the year 2023, evaluating two hundred and seven educational institutions from fifteen countries. Twenty-nine Iraqi government universities, as well as several private universities, achieved significant competitive ranks in the Times ranking of Arab universities for the first time.
