Over the past weeks, specialized teams have continued their efforts to finalize the program in its comprehensive form, in preparation for the launch of the first phase. A subsequent meeting is scheduled to be held on <strong data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1072\">17 November 2025<\/strong> to discuss and formally approve the course curricula.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"1128\" data-end=\"1620\">The Dean of the College of Mass Communication, <strong data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1213\">Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed<\/strong>, affirmed that <em data-start=\"1229\" data-end=\"1413\">\u201cthis program represents a qualitative step in the development of the College\u2019s curricula and reflects its academic vision of openness to well-established international experiences.\u201d<\/em> He noted that <em data-start=\"1428\" data-end=\"1620\">\u201cRenewed Path will be built upon the methodology of the French School of Journalism, which is known for its strong focus on professional practice and innovation in media content production.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"1622\" data-end=\"2048\">He further explained that <em data-start=\"1648\" data-end=\"1901\">\u201cthe program will provide students and faculty members with opportunities for joint training and professional development, contributing to enhancing graduates\u2019 competencies and advancing their skills in digital journalism and multimedia media fields.\u201d<\/em> He emphasized that <em data-start=\"1921\" data-end=\"2048\">\u201cthe College remains committed to adopting international partnerships that elevate the academic and media landscape in Iraq.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"2050\" data-end=\"2588\">It is worth noting that the agreement to implement the new program was signed on <strong data-start=\"2131\" data-end=\"2152\">25 September 2025<\/strong>, in the presence of the President of the University of Baghdad, <strong data-start=\"2217\" data-end=\"2253\">Professor Dr. Baha Ibrahim Insaf<\/strong>, the Adviser at the French Embassy in Baghdad, <strong data-start=\"2301\" data-end=\"2319\">Mounir Slimani<\/strong>, as well as a number of faculty members, staff, and students. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Iraqi side by the Dean of the College, <strong data-start=\"2463\" data-end=\"2501\">Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed<\/strong>, and on behalf of the French side by the President of the Academy, <strong data-start=\"2569\" data-end=\"2587\">Antoine Comery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"2590\" data-end=\"3026\">The new agreement extends a previous collaboration between the <strong data-start=\"2653\" data-end=\"2686\">College of Mass Communication<\/strong> and the <em data-start=\"2695\" data-end=\"2724\">France M\u00e9dias Monde Academy<\/em>, under which the <strong data-start=\"2742\" data-end=\"2777\">\u201cInnovative Journalism in Iraq\u201d<\/strong> initiative was launched in 2022 in coordination with the French Embassy. The initiative focused on training faculty members and students in digital editing, multimedia content production, fact-checking, and the management of modern media platforms.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"3028\" data-end=\"3438\">The previous initiative contributed to transferring advanced practical expertise to the College\u2019s staff and provided faculty members and students with access to hands-on workshops and training opportunities supervised by international experts. Today, it serves as a solid foundation for launching the <strong data-start=\"3329\" data-end=\"3347\">\u201cRenewed Path\u201d<\/strong> program as a new phase of productive academic and media
