The exhibition featured educational posters highlighting the dangers of drug abuse and the effects of digital addiction on young people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"621\" data-end=\"1150\">The exhibition was officially opened by the Dean of the College, <strong data-start=\"686\" data-end=\"724\">Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed<\/strong>, in the presence of <strong data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"767\">Dr. Saad Al-Falahi<\/strong>, Head of the University Psychological Counseling Division, along with a number of its members. Also in attendance was <strong data-start=\"886\" data-end=\"918\">Mr. Hussein Yousif Al-Tamimi<\/strong>, representing the <strong data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"1006\">General Directorate for Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Affairs<\/strong> at the Ministry of Interior. The event was held as part of the activities marking the <strong data-start=\"1093\" data-end=\"1117\">Iraqi Anti-Drug Week<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1126\" data-end=\"1149\">Anti-Addiction Week<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"1152\" data-end=\"1715\">Following the opening of the exhibition, an expanded awareness seminar was held addressing the dangers of drugs and the social, health, and psychological impacts of addiction. The seminar was delivered by <strong data-start=\"1357\" data-end=\"1389\">Mr. Hussein Yousif Al-Tamimi<\/strong>, Director of the Legal Department at the General Directorate for Combating Drugs; <strong data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1501\">Asst. Prof. Ikhlas Hameed<\/strong>; and <strong data-start=\"1507\" data-end=\"1539\">Asst. Prof. Rana Abdul Latif<\/strong>, Head of the University Psychological Counseling Unit. The seminar also featured contributions from students of the <strong data-start=\"1656\" data-end=\"1714\">Departments of Public Relations and Digital Journalism<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"1717\" data-end=\"1991\">During the seminar, the speakers emphasized the importance of community awareness and the role of academic institutions in promoting a culture of prevention, fostering positive behaviors among university students, and encouraging them to confront various forms of addiction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"1993\" data-end=\"2386\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">These activities reflect the <strong data-start=\"2022\" data-end=\"2086\">College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad\u2019s<\/strong> commitment to supporting national programs aimed at combating drugs, promoting mental health principles, and enhancing student awareness in line with the <strong data-start=\"2241\" data-end=\"2274\">Sustainable Development Goals<\/strong>, particularly <strong data-start=\"2289\" data-end=\"2327\">Goal 3( Third goal): Good Health and Well-Being<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"2333\" data-end=\"2385\">Goal 16(Sixteenth Goal): Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The College of Mass
