The Sixth International Scientific Conference and the Eighteenth Annual Conference<\/strong> at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad<\/strong>, held under the theme \u201cMedia Between Legislation and Professional Ethics,\u201d<\/strong> continued today with extensive sessions<\/strong> and strong participation from researchers, professors, and media enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

The first-day sessions featured discussions of multiple research papers covering topics such as media legislation, legal regulation of journalistic practice, professional ethics compliance, digital media, and technological transformations in content production<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed, Dean of the College<\/strong>, emphasized that the active engagement and contributions of researchers reflect the relevance of the conference themes and underscore its role as a platform for responsible academic dialogue on the future of the media profession, particularly amid the rapid changes in the media landscape.<\/p>\n

The sessions included in-depth scientific discussions focusing on strengthening the professional environment of Iraqi media, developing legislation in line with transparency and credibility standards, and highlighting the essential role of academic institutions in preparing a generation of media professionals who are both aware and committed to professional principles.<\/p>\n
