The Radio and Television Department at the College of Mass Communication<\/strong> continues to strengthen its academic and professional presence by holding an expanded meeting with the Industrial Advisory Board and a number of officials from satellite channels and media institutions. The meeting aimed to enhance the practical component of the department\u2019s programs and align educational outcomes with the requirements of the media labor market.<\/p>\n

The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Radio and Television Department, Prof. Dr. Ali Abbas<\/strong>, as part of a strategic orientation focused on building effective partnerships with media institutions and establishing solid frameworks for cooperation. These partnerships are intended to translate into specialized training workshops and applied programs that contribute to improving students\u2019 competencies and refining their professional skills.<\/p>\n

Discussions during the meeting addressed mechanisms for organizing joint workshops and providing field training opportunities within satellite channels and media institutions, offering students hands-on professional experience and enhancing their readiness to enter the labor market after graduation.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Ali Abbas affirmed that \u201cthe department operates according to a clear vision and well-studied plans to advance both the academic and practical dimensions,\u201d<\/em> noting that \u201copening up to the Industrial Advisory Board and media institutions represents a fundamental step toward updating practical curricula and strengthening media organizations\u2019 confidence in the competence of Radio and Television Department graduates.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
