The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad began, on Tuesday, implementing the practical steps of the \u201cRenewed Path\u201d Project by completing and approving the academic schedules for the scientific departments included in the project. This comes within the framework of academic cooperation with France Medias Monde, in preparation for the launch of training at the beginning of the second semester.
\nThis was discussed during a meeting that brought together the Dean of the College of Mass Communication, Prof. Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed, and the French delegation, in the presence of the College Council. The meeting resulted in agreements on organizing schedules, defining work mechanisms, and identifying the training pathways to be adopted for student training in accordance with the French school and international standards of media education.
\nThe \u201cRenewed Path\u201d Project aims to enhance the practical aspect of education for students of the College of Mass Communication through modern training programs that focus on professional skills, journalistic ethics, and linking theoretical study with practical application within an educational environment that simulates the reality of advanced media institutions.
\nThe Dean of the College affirmed that the project represents a strategic step in the development of media education in Iraq, reflecting the College of Mass Communication\u2019s orientation toward academic openness, curriculum modernization, and the establishment of international partnerships that contribute to preparing graduates with the competence and capability to compete in the labor market.
