The Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the College of Mass Communication organized a specialized workshop titled \u201cPurposeful Content Creation Among Women,\u201d attended by a group of lecturers and individuals interested in digital communication and meaningful content production.<\/p>\n

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Oyoun Saad, who highlighted the importance of purposeful content creation in the digital environment and the influential role women play in addressing societal and humanitarian issues through social media platforms, contributing to greater public awareness and supporting development processes.<\/p>\n

Dr. Saad emphasized that women possess a strong ability to produce impactful content that realistically and humanely reflects community needs, making their presence in the digital space essential for advancing social, economic, and cultural development, as well as countering negative and misleading content with responsible and conscious media production.<\/p>\n

The workshop was attended by Dr. Rana Al-Shujairi, head of the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit, Dr. Yusra Al-Ubaidi from the Employment and Follow-up Unit, along with a number of lecturers and students.<\/p>\n

Discussions focused on mechanisms for building professional digital content that reflects societal values, the importance of supporting women\u2019s talents in digital communication and content creation, and the need to move beyond theoretical workshops toward practical initiatives that prepare influential female content creators capable of driving positive social impact.<\/p>\n

The workshop aligns with the College of Mass Communication\u2019s efforts to empower women and enhance their media role, in line with Sustainable Development Goals related to gender equality, quality education, and decent work and economic growth.<\/p>\n
