The College of Mass Communication launched the \u201cPurposeful Content\u201d initiative under the supervision of the college deanship and in coordination with the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit, aiming to support distinguished students in digital content creation and encourage youth-led communication projects that promote awareness, culture, and humanitarian values within the digital space.<\/p>\n

The initiative comes amid the growing influence of digital platforms on young people\u2019s lives, as the college seeks to direct students\u2019 talents toward producing responsible digital content that reflects academic and social values while presenting positive models capable of influencing public opinion through innovative approaches.<\/p>\n

The initiative includes training programs and specialized workshops in content creation, photography, editing, and creative writing, in addition to supporting student-led projects with promising ideas that can be developed and expanded, contributing to the enhancement of students\u2019 media and digital skills.<\/p>\n

In this context, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed, stated that the initiative represents an important step toward building a university environment that supports youth creativity, emphasizing the college\u2019s commitment to empowering students to use digital communication positively in ways that strengthen public awareness and counter misleading and harmful content through professional and impactful productions.<\/p>\n

He added that the college aims to transform social media platforms from spaces of passive consumption into effective tools for spreading knowledge, culture, and showcasing young talents capable of producing content that reflects Iraqi society and its issues.<\/p>\n

The initiative aligns with the College of Mass Communication\u2019s vision to support digital creativity and responsible youth communication, contributing to the preparation of a generation equipped with the awareness and skills needed to employ modern communication tools in serving society and development<\/p>\n
