The dissertation was submitted by researcher Adnan Tuaima Juhail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Hussein Ali Noor, with Prof. Dr. Hussein Dubai Hassan as supervisor. Committee members included Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Ali Hamoud, Assistant Professor Dr. Muntaha Hadi Hindi, and Prof. Dr. Baqir Mousa Jassim, in addition to Prof. Dr. Wisam Mohammed Ahmed Nasr as an external committee member.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The dissertation aimed to examine the construction and representations of cultural identity in television talk shows broadcast by Iraqi satellite channels through approaches based on critical discourse analysis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The findings revealed an underlying conflict between the value systems of the participants represented in the study sample. This conflict lies at the core of the construction of cultural identity, which is continually reproduced through television interaction. The study also found that the scenographic dimension of talk shows does not serve a purely aesthetic function.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The dissertation recommended expanding the use of qualitative research methods in media studies, as well as emphasizing the use of ethnographic approaches, particularly digital ethnography.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The findings of the study align with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by calling for the development of research methodologies, including digital ethnography, thereby contributing to improving the quality of academic research and enhancing cultural and technological awareness in Iraqi academic institutions.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
