The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Kareem Mishat Al-Mousawi as part of a series of activities aimed at developing the educational environment and strengthening institutional communication.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Al-Mousawi emphasized that university media is a strategic partner for academic advisors, playing a key role in raising awareness of regulations and instructions, guiding students toward academic and research opportunities, and highlighting academic advising activities through digital platforms and university publications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He explained that this integration contributes to improving academic performance, strengthening institutional belonging, and addressing academic challenges that students may encounter throughout their educational journey.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also noted that, in the modern era, media is no longer merely a means of reporting events but has become an influential force in shaping public opinion and driving change, increasing the responsibility of institutional media within universities. According to Dr. Al-Mousawi, university media serves as a strategic tool for reflecting an academic institution\u2019s identity, mission, and achievements and for strengthening its presence locally and internationally.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He further explained that rapid developments in publishing platforms and digital production tools have expanded the role of university media beyond traditional news coverage to include shaping the university\u2019s public image by highlighting its educational, research, and community activities and showcasing its contributions to development and progress.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He stressed the importance of institutional media adhering to core human values, including transparency and a strong sense of belonging, by producing professional and credible content that reflects the institution\u2019s reality and aligns with its vision and strategic plans.
