{"id":5626,"date":"2026-10-13T10:00:42","date_gmt":"2026-10-13T10:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.comc.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=5626"},"modified":"2026-10-13T10:04:41","modified_gmt":"2026-10-13T10:04:41","slug":"thesis-examines-ai-use-in-television-series-production","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.comc.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=5626","title":{"rendered":"Thesis Examines AI Use in Television Series Production"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad held a master\u2019s thesis defense for Auj Fadhil Abbas, a researcher in the Department of Radio and Television, titled \u201cThe Use of Artificial Intelligence in Television Series Production.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The examining committee consisted of Professor Adel Abdul Razzaq Mustaf as chair, Professor Hussein Ali Nour as supervisor, Assistant Professor Muntaha Hadi as a member, and Assistant Professor Khamis Mohammed as an external examiner.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The study aimed to examine how artificial intelligence technologies are used in television series production, identify their main applications, assess their use across different production stages, and compare their implementation in Iraqi, Arab, and international television series.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The research adopted a descriptive-analytical approach and a survey methodology using a media survey technique. Content analysis served as the primary data collection tool, supplemented by direct scientific observation and interviews with a number of specialists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The study reached several conclusions, most notably that artificial intelligence is used in television series production through a range of applications, particularly deepfake technology.
