The College of Media at the University of Baghdad showcased excellence by securing the second position in the university’s Table Tennis Championship, which was organized by the university’s administration with the participation of 20 teams representing various colleges. The event witnessed a significant turnout of students and university officials.
The Media College players demonstrated professional performance, winning six consecutive matches with a clear lead over their competitors. Despite losing in the final match by two sets to one, they were honored with the second-place trophy and silver medals.
The matches were attended by the Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering and the Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Ali Sadeq. The championship was highly competitive, and the College of Media stood out for its qualitative performance, highlighting its ability to compete at the university level.
