The Department of Postgraduate Studies at the College of Media, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific workshop titled “Typographical Errors in Master’s Theses and Doctoral Dissertations Writing within the ASDPS Program.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Khalood Jabbar and attended by master’s and doctoral students.
This workshop is part of an expanded program directed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, urging universities and colleges to initiate it, aiming to enhance the efficiency of scientific research.
The ASDPS program aims to develop the research skills of postgraduate students in Iraqi universities. It is the first program of its kind in Iraq, initially adopted by the University of Technology in the academic year 2020-2021, and then extended to postgraduate students in Iraqi universities starting from the academic year 2023-2024.
The objectives of the program vary, including expanding students’ research awareness, increasing their skills in finding solutions to research problems, benefiting from professors’ experiences in scientific research and thesis preparation, as well as providing free workshops in globally leading scientific research programs.
