The College of Media at the University of Baghdad began its final exams for undergraduate studies for the academic year 2022-2023 on Sunday. The exams are scheduled to run from May 28th to June 18th.
The college has provided all the necessary supplies for the students participating in the exams, including exam booklets and supervising committees, as well as air-conditioned classrooms and essential services for all examination halls.
During his tour of the examination halls, the Dean of the College of Media, Professor Dr. Ammar Tahir, stated that “the examination process is proceeding smoothly.” He issued directives to the faculty and supervising committees to interact flexibly, positively, and humanely with the students and to handle emergency situations responsibly and transparently, in accordance with objective and legal frameworks.
Tahir added that the unity and clear sense of responsibility demonstrated by the administrative and teaching staff have contributed to the success of the examination process on the first day. He emphasized the importance of “continuing early presence by the supervising committees to conduct meticulous monitoring of the halls and provide a suitable and healthy environment.”
These final exams aim to assess the knowledge and skills acquired by students during their period of study and are an important part of the educational process. Faculty members and supervisors strive to provide a conducive and fair environment for students to express their knowledge and abilities to the best of their ability.
Dr. Ammar Tahir, along with the administrative and teaching staff of the college, wishes all participating students success and prosperity in their final exams. He emphasizes the importance of diligent and continuous work during the examination period and adherence to academic ethics for the success of this scientific task.
More than 1300 male and female students are participating in the final exams, with 456 students enrolled in Public Relations, 484 students in Radio and Television Journalism, and 383 students in Journalism. End/64
