The College of Media at the University of Baghdad shone prominently in the university badminton championship, organized by the university. The college secured the first and third positions in these thrilling sports competitions. The matches saw active participation from 22 different colleges on the fields of the College of Administration and Economics.
These outstanding achievements are attributed to the dedication and great skills of the sports team members and the excellent supervision by specialized advisors at the college, including Dr. Rawiya Jabbar, the head of the Student Activities Unit at the college, Dr. Mohammad Mahdi, and Dr. Adi Jameel.
Student Mariam Salah from the Public Relations department in the third stage excelled and secured the first position due to her determination and dedication in surpassing all her competitors. Meanwhile, student Mohammed Mazen Abdelkader from the Public Relations department in the second stage shone and claimed the third position with a fantastic performance and consecutive victories over his opponents.
Dr. Amar Taher, the Dean of the college, offered congratulations to the winners and praised the efforts of everyone in achieving this fantastic sports accomplishment. He expressed his continuous and open support for the college’s sports teams and wished for more achievements in the future.
