A master’s thesis of a student (Alaa Matar Muhaimeed) was discussed from the Department of Journalism at the College of media, University of Baghdad, tagged (the propaganda contents of President Joe Biden’s statements and speeches regarding the 2020 US presidential elections, an analytical study of the American news website CNN, directed at Arabs)
The discussion committee consisted of the following professors:
Prof. Dr. Shukriya Kokoz Khader, Chairman ,Prof. Dr. Laith Badr Youssef, member and supervisor, Assistant Prof. Dr. Inam Abdel-Ridha Sultan, member Assistant Professor Dr. Widad Najm Abboud, an external member from Al-Nahrain University.
The study aimed to identify the role played by the propaganda contents of Joe Biden’s statements and speeches related to the US presidential elections of 2020, based on the CNN Arabic website. The research concluded that Joe Biden is interested in his political capabilities in running the country and opening a new era for the American people in the event that he wins the elections against Trump. The goals also showed Biden’s reliance on the method of repetition in promoting his plans to run the country.
