A local, independent, public radio of a scientific and cultural nature that is concerned with student affairs and provides them with news, information, scientific, cultural, entertainment and sports programmes, as well as religious programs during religious occasions. Communicating with its audience through its various programs and its commitment to journalistic and media standards that the College of Mass Communication is keen to consolidate in the new generation of future media professionals, as well as raising the scientific level of the student segment through interest in scientific and cultural programs and programs to support scientific research. It also seeks, through its training and rehabilitation programs, to achieve its goals of training students and qualifying them practically and professionally by informing and training them on the radio production process in all its stages.

Radio “College of Information” started its experimental broadcast from its location located in the building of the College of Information at the University of Baghdad on March 18, 2009, on the FM wave, at a frequency of 105.7 2009, with four transmission hours, from nine in the morning until one in the afternoon, for seven days a week. Its curriculum included the broadcasting of songs and radio spots known as the radio, while a number of programs and news briefings began to be broadcasted every hour, with a broadcast space that was expanded to six hours per day, starting from Tuesday, corresponding to the twenty-sixth of May of the year 2009. As for broadcasting The year of broadcasting of the Faculty of Information began in mid-May of the year 2009 AD, and it is hoped that the broadcasting area will be expanded to eight hours a day, “from eight in the morning until four in the afternoon,” and for seven days a week.
