Students of the College of media participated in the theatrical festival organized by the Student Activities Department at the University of Baghdad. The supervisor of the college of media team, Dr. Rawia Jabbar, said, “The College of Media Band participated in the theatrical performances, which lasted for two consecutive days, which took place on the stage of the College of media through a theatrical performance entitled (Psychiatrist).
And she added, “The students of the College of Media, through scenes of the play, conveyed the daily problems and situations that the Iraqi citizen is exposed to, in a purposeful comic framework, focusing on unemployment issues, frequent divorce cases, the exaggerated spread of beauty centers, and other issues.”
While Jabbar stated that “the theatrical performance of the students of the College of Media won the admiration and approval of the jury, and that the students received gifts and certificates of appreciation for their efforts and hard work in the scenes of the play.” This activity comes within a series of events and festivals organized by the University of Baghdad, in which the College of media participates to convey the creative and distinguished image of its students in various fields.
