The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Ghufran Ali Mutlak and Assistant Lecturer Alaa Mohammed Mohsen.

The workshop addressed the definition and types of minorities, the importance of safeguarding their rights, and ensuring their active participation in society. It also emphasized the role of the state in enacting laws and policies that promote social justice and equality among all citizens.

It also discussed the most prominent challenges facing minorities and ways to activate the role of educational and media institutions in spreading a culture of peaceful coexistence .The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which was the need to promote social and educational awareness of minority rights and to strengthen the values of justice and equal citizenship. These principles play a fundamental role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16, which focuses on peace, justice, and strong institutions.
