As part of the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, continued its programs for the third consecutive day by organizing a training workshop entitled “Developing Media Skills in the Digital Age,” with the participation of a number of students and media enthusiasts.
The workshop covered several key topics, focusing on the importance of keeping pace with digital transformations in media work, developing practical skills in content production, and utilizing modern digital platforms. It also highlighted the requirements of the media job market amid rapidly evolving technology.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Salah, alongside students Ghadeer Akram and Zainab Dakhel. It witnessed active engagement from participants through discussions and interventions, reflecting the students’ interest in enhancing their professional skills and preparing to enter the modern media work environment.
This workshop comes as part of the College of Mass Communication’s efforts to empower its students, enhance their practical skills, and link academic knowledge with the needs of the job market. It aligns with the objectives of Global Entrepreneurship Week in supporting innovation, building youth capacities, and preparing them for their professional future.
