The Unit of Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, launched an internal bazaar today, marking the fourth day of Entrepreneurship Week activities, with remarkable attendance and strong participation from students and attendees.
The bazaar was organized under the direct supervision of the Unit of Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up, as part of efforts to support student talents and foster a spirit of initiative and self-employment. The event featured a variety of student products and projects that showcased the creativity and skills of young people across multiple fields, while also promoting the concept of entrepreneurship within the university environment.
The event witnessed extensive engagement from students, who expressed interest in participating in entrepreneurial activities that open new horizons for thinking about future projects and help refine their practical skills alongside their academic development.
This activity is part of Entrepreneurship Week, which aims to spread a culture of innovation and self-employment and to connect students with the labor market early on, enhancing their confidence in their abilities and supporting their professional pathways after graduation.
Through such initiatives, the College of Mass Communication reaffirms its commitment to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 8: “Decent Work and Economic Growth,” by empowering students and encouraging them to undertake entrepreneurial projects that contribute to social and economic development.
