The Department of Radio and Television at the College of Mass Communication organized a specialized workshop on the art of television program presentation, aiming to strengthen students’ practical skills and link academic study with professional practice.
The workshop hosted media professional Dr. Mohammed Al-Khuzaie, presenter at Al Rabiaa TV, who shared his field experience with students, highlighting modern TV presentation techniques, interview management, audience interaction, and the core competencies required for television presenters in today’s evolving media landscape.
Students actively engaged in the workshop, raising questions about media work and the challenges faced by presenters, while Dr. Al-Khuzaie provided practical guidance drawn from his professional experience.
The workshop was organized as part of the department’s activities in cooperation with the Industrial Advisory Council, which brings together media institutions, satellite channels, and agencies, with the aim of strengthening ties with the labor market and enhancing students’ professional skills in line with industry needs.
Held under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ali Abbas, Head of the Department, the session was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Dhulfiqar Fadhil.
The initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by providing applied learning opportunities that prepare qualified media professionals capable of meeting evolving industry demands.
