This goal focuses on promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, ensuring equitable access to justice for all, and building effective and accountable institutions, which includes combating corruption, developing strong legal systems, and enhancing civic engagement.
In the context of the University of Baghdad, efforts to achieve this goal may include several initiatives, such as: providing a safe and secure environment within the campus, incorporating human rights and justice issues into academic curricula and research, adopting policies and mechanisms to combat corruption in all aspects of university life, supporting effective interaction between the university and the local community, encouraging student participation in social and political issues, and providing transparent information about administrative decisions and governance procedures.
