The Dean of the College of Mass Communication, Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed, received two new scientific books on Tuesday, marking a valuable addition to the academic library in the field of public relations, as they present contemporary perspectives aligned with global transformations in this vital discipline.

The first book, titled “Public Relations: The Diplomacy of the Future – A Bridge for International Communication Amid Challenges,” authored by Dr. Mohammed Sabah Ali Al-Quraishi, highlights the growing role of public relations as a soft diplomatic tool that contributes to strengthening international understanding and building communication bridges in a rapidly changing world.

The second publication, “Public Relations in International Exhibitions,” co-authored by Dr. Ahmed Sahi Al-Saadi and Dr. Abdul Mohsen Al-Shafi’i, examines the importance of public relations in organizing and managing international events and exhibitions, as well as its role in shaping institutional image and enhancing global media presence.

The Dean affirmed that these academic publications represent an important contribution to the college’s academic and research progress, providing students and researchers with reliable scientific resources that align with the demands of the media labor market.

The initiative reflects efforts to strengthen scientific cooperation and knowledge exchange in line with Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), through supporting academic research and advancing higher education.
