The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Mass Communication organized a training course titled “Source Documentation Using Word and EndNote,” aimed at developing students’ and researchers’ skills in academic writing and modern referencing methods.

The course was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Thaer Khalil, Assistant Lecturer Roaa Taher, and Assistant Lecturer Sarmad Ahmed, who addressed the importance of academic citation in enhancing research quality, as well as the use of Word and EndNote for inserting citations and organizing references in a precise academic format.

The program included practical demonstrations on how to document sources and create electronic reference lists, helping researchers streamline their work and improve their ability to produce scholarly studies.

Participants actively engaged in the sessions and praised the practical content delivered during the lectures, emphasizing the importance of such tools in strengthening research competencies.

The course aligns with the College of Mass Communication’s efforts to support the academic environment and enhance research skills, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), by improving higher education quality and providing modern learning tools for students and researchers.
