The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence Strategies in Designing Environmental Advertisements,” presented by Professor Huda Fadhil and Dr. Aqeel Tahseen, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop professional and academic capacities.

The workshop addressed the concept of AI application strategies as software tools distinguished by rapid processing through algorithms that enable simulation and interactive communication, with the aim of enhancing cognitive capabilities.

It also highlighted the main challenges facing interactive advertising communication, including randomness in presentation, visual pollution in the display of elements, reliance on conventional methods, and a lack of consideration for cultural diversity.

The workshop aimed to monitor and test AI application strategies in designing sustainable environmental advertisements that enrich design thinking reflected in communication messages and advertising content production, while also providing researchers and designers with valuable intellectual and cognitive insights.

The outcomes of the workshop align with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on quality education.
