The Department of Radio and Television at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, organized a training lecture for first-year evening-study students to introduce them to the fundamentals of television production and develop their practical skills in photography and media production.
The lecture was presented by Prof. Dr. Ali Abbas, Head of the Department of Radio and Television, who reviewed several basic concepts of television production and explained camera handling techniques and key technical principles of television photography. He also introduced students to the equipment and devices used in media production.
The lecture included a practical component in the College’s media laboratories, giving students an opportunity to become familiar with the television production environment and learn how to operate cameras and other equipment, thereby strengthening their practical skills from the early stages of their studies.
The training lecture was organized as part of the College of Mass Communication’s commitment to strengthening practical education for evening-study students and developing their media skills in line with the requirements of professional media organizations.
