The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, organized a specialized training course in television video editing for employees of media and government communication units across the University. The course, presented by Dr. Mustafa Amer, aimed to develop participants’ technical skills in media content production.
The course provided both theoretical and practical instruction on the fundamentals of video editing, methods for processing recorded footage, and techniques for constructing visual stories. It also introduced participants to key software used for professional video editing and production in line with the requirements of contemporary media work.
The course also focused on developing participants’ skills in producing reports and visual content for government institutions, contributing to more effective media performance and strengthening government communication tools across the University’s institutions.
The course is part of a series of training programs organized by the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Mass Communication to develop professional skills and build the capacities of media professionals in line with rapid developments in the digital media industry.
