First-year evening-study students in the Department of Public Relations at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, organized a humanitarian visit to the Ali Athab Foundation for the Care of the Elderly and Orphans, in an initiative that reflects a spirit of social solidarity and promotes humanitarian values among students.

The visit included a Ramadan iftar gathering that brought the students together with the home’s residents in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The students also distributed gifts to the children, bringing joy and happiness to them.

The campaign was supervised by Dr. Aqeel Tahseen, who emphasized the importance of involving students in community and humanitarian activities, given their role in developing their personalities and strengthening their sense of social responsibility.

The Department of Public Relations at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, continues to organize such initiatives to promote volunteerism, strengthen engagement with the community, and support the College’s mission of community service and sustainable development.
