The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “E-Learning Platforms,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Safaa Hiwar, as part of the College’s efforts to develop students’ skills and keep pace with digital transformations in education.
The workshop introduced some of the world’s leading e-learning platforms and explained how they can be used to support self-directed learning and distance education. It also reviewed key tools that help improve interaction between students and faculty members and enhance academic achievement.
The workshop featured active engagement from students, who raised questions about the best ways to benefit from these platforms in developing their academic and professional careers. The lecturer emphasized the importance of acquiring digital skills as a key requirement of the modern job market.
The workshop is part of a series of activities organized by the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit to prepare College students for integration into changing work environments and strengthen their ability to use modern technologies.
The event aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education by supporting continuous learning, developing digital skills, and providing flexible and innovative educational opportunities for all.
