Dr. Raad Al-Mashhadani, official spokesperson for the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, visited the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad and met with Prof. Dr. Ammar Tahir Mohammed, Dean of the College, to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation and strengthen the partnership between the two sides in support of academic and professional media development.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Mashhadani expressed the Syndicate’s readiness to sponsor the Department of Radio and Television Festival, praising the College’s academic role in preparing professional media personnel. He also conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Khalid Jassim, Chairman of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, and Muayyad Al-Lami, First Deputy Chairman, emphasizing the Syndicate’s openness to expanding areas of cooperation with the College.
For his part, the Dean welcomed the visit and highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation with the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate to help develop students’ skills and enhance the practical component of the educational process.
The meeting included a number of proposals aimed at establishing future cooperation, including organizing joint events, providing training opportunities for students, and supporting the College’s activities and festivals.
