Professor Ammar Taher Mohammed, Dean of the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad, praised the college’s achievement in student activities, stressing that it reflects the advanced level of its students and their talents and capabilities to compete and make an active contribution to university life.

Taher said the college takes pride in its students’ achievement, which adds to the record of the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad. He described the accomplishment as the result of the combined efforts of students, faculty members, and staff in creating an academic environment that supports creativity and excellence. He added that students at the College of Mass Communication should not be merely recipients of knowledge, but active media professionals capable of taking initiative, competing, and making an impact.

He emphasized that the achievement provides further motivation to continue supporting student activities and expanding opportunities for student participation. He noted that the college will continue working to develop well-rounded media professionals who combine academic knowledge with professional skills, effective communication, and teamwork.

The Dean commended all students who participated in the activities, as well as those who supervised them, stressing that every achievement attained by the college’s students is an achievement for both the College of Mass Communication and the University of Baghdad and an incentive to pursue further excellence and leadership.

The achievement reflects the College of Mass Communication’s commitment to strengthening student activities as an integral part of the educational process, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education.
