“The second-year students of the Radio and Television Department at the College of Media organized an interactive protest lecture titled ‘Children of Gaza,’ supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Ali Al-Shujairi. The aim was to enhance political awareness and express humanitarian solidarity with the children in the Gaza Strip.
The students prepared video reports discussing the reality of children in Gaza. The contributions varied, from reports highlighting explicit violations by the Zionist entity of the principles of international humanitarian law to those showcasing the resilience and bravery of the Palestinian people, as well as reports documenting the numbers of martyrs and the wounded.
This initiative received support from the head of the Radio and Television Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Al-Qatbi. It is part of the continuous support from the Dean of the College of Media, Dr. Amar Taher, to strengthen the role of student activities in expressing social and political issues and increasing their responsibility towards society.
This activity reflects the dedication and active spirit of the students at the College of Media in supporting humanitarian causes and showing solidarity with the children in Gaza during this difficult period.”
