During the workshop, Dr. Al-Aqabi stressed the importance of raising public awareness of manipulative marketing techniques and cautioned against being driven by emotions without carefully analyzing political messages.

The workshop concluded with a set of guidelines and recommendations aimed at helping audiences avoid linguistic manipulation and promoting the responsible use of language in election campaigns.

The workshop is part of the College of Mass Communication’s efforts to promote media awareness and the proper use of language among students and those interested in media and mass communication, while enhancing understanding of the influence of language on society and politics. It also supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
