Professor Irada Zaidan Al-Jubouri, a member of the scientific committee for the 7th International Scientific Conference and 19th Annual Conference of the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad, confirmed that the committee continues to receive research papers from scholars in Arab and foreign countries, reflecting the conference’s academic reach and scientific standing.
Al-Jubouri said submissions are being received smoothly and systematically in accordance with established academic procedures. She noted that the scientific committee is closely monitoring submissions and organizing the review process in line with rigorous academic standards to ensure the conference is well prepared and achieves its scientific objectives.
She added that participation by researchers from Iraq and abroad offers an important opportunity to exchange expertise and academic perspectives and discuss the transformations reshaping the media landscape amid rapid digital developments. This exchange supports scientific research, advances media studies, and helps keep pace with contemporary developments.
The conference, titled “Media and Shifts in Discourse Amid Contemporary Digital Transformations,” reflects the College of Mass Communication’s commitment to strengthening its academic standing, expanding academic cooperation, and creating new avenues for scholarly dialogue among researchers and media specialists.
These efforts align with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals by supporting scientific research and strengthening academic cooperation at both the national and international levels.
