The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad took part in the “My School is More Beautiful” campaign organized by the Baghdad Secretariat as part of the national tree-planting initiative. The event, held at Al-Ikhwa Middle School for Boys in Al-Jihad district on October 28, 2025, involved students and faculty planting trees and greening the school grounds.
Organized by the Public Relations Department, in cooperation with the Municipal Awareness Department and Al-Rashid Municipality, the initiative aims to instill a sense of responsibility for public cleanliness and green spaces among students, while promoting environmental conservation.
The college dean highlighted that the campaign reflects the college’s commitment to social responsibility and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 13: Climate Action, Goal 15: Life on Land, and Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
