Professor Azhar Sabaih, a member of the Preparatory Committee for the 6th International and 18th Annual Conference of the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad, confirmed that the committee has set the end of this week as the final deadline for submitting research papers for the conference, which will be held under the theme “Media Between Legislation and Professional Ethics.”
Sabaih explained that the Preparatory Committee is working at an accelerated pace to complete all arrangements, emphasizing that the conference represents a major academic and media event bringing together researchers and academics from inside and outside Iraq to discuss key issues affecting the future of Arab media and its ethical and legislative responsibilities.
She added that the committee has received a distinguished number of high-quality research papers covering diverse topics in media legislation, professional ethics, and digital media. She confirmed that the scientific review process is being conducted rigorously according to approved academic standards to ensure the quality of the research outputs.
Professor Azhar Sabaih concluded by stressing that the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad continues its commitment to fostering constructive academic dialogue and promoting ethical values in media work, in line with the College’s mission and its objectives in serving society and advancing scientific research.
