The Student Activities Department / Cultural Activities Division at the University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the College of Mass Communication, organized a training lecture titled “Steps and Fundamentals of Writing a Short Story.”
Under the supervision of Dr. Ali Sadiq and with the participation of Amjad Jarallah, the lecture was delivered by Dr. Rawya Jabbar, who highlighted key elements of short story writing, including plot, narration, and character development, and presented exemplary works to illustrate successful storytelling techniques.
The initiative aims to enhance students’ creative skills, encourage engagement in cultural and artistic activities, and align with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly quality education and skills development.
