The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific workshop titled “Challenges in Writing Media Research,” presented by Professor Dr. Widad Ghazi, with the participation of several faculty members and staff.
The workshop addressed the main challenges faced by researchers in preparing media studies, particularly regarding the formulation of the research problem, constructing the theoretical framework, and utilizing previous studies. It also highlighted common methodological errors that may occur during data analysis and the writing of results and conclusions.
The session emphasized the importance of adhering to scientific and methodological principles in writing media research, stressing the need to focus on the quality of academic content and linking the theoretical framework to the study topic, contributing to the advancement of research standards.
This workshop is part of a series of seminars and scientific workshops organized by the College of Mass Communication in recent days to discuss issues related to academic research. These activities aim to strengthen the research culture and enhance the academic and professional skills of faculty and staff members.
