The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, organized a specialized training course in television editing targeting staff from the media and governmental communication units within the University of Baghdad. The course, delivered by Dr. Mustafa Amer, aimed to develop participants’ technical skills in media content production.
The course included both theoretical and practical sessions covering the fundamentals of editing, techniques for processing recorded material, and methods for constructing a visual story. It also introduced the main software tools used for professional video editing and production, in line with the requirements of contemporary media work.
The training focused on enhancing participants’ abilities to prepare reports and visual materials for government institutions, contributing to the improvement of media performance and the development of governmental communication tools across the university’s divisions.
This course is part of a series of training programs organized by the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Mass Communication, aimed at developing professional skills and building the capacities of media personnel to keep pace with the rapid developments in digital media production.
