Documenting initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions associated with transportation, including:

  1. Encouraging Walking: Providing and enhancing pedestrian pathways within the campus and landscaping them with trees to promote walking as a sustainable mode of transportation.
  2. Transportation Services: Providing shuttle buses for staff and students to reduce the reliance on private vehicles.
  3. Eco-Friendly Vehicles: Allocating spaces for and encouraging the use of bicycles and electric vehicles within the College.
  4. Awareness Campaigns: Publishing digital awareness materials that encourage staff and students to reduce waste and adopt environmentally responsible practices.
  • Water Management

Highlighting the efforts made to preserve water resources through the implementation of water conservation programs and the promotion of efficient water consumption practices.

  • Energy Resources

Documenting and publishing information related to the energy resources utilized by the College, including:

  1. Highlighting the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar panels, where available.
  2. Publishing guidelines and policies aimed at reducing energy consumption in classrooms, laboratories, and administrative facilities.
  3. Promoting the use of energy-efficient devices and systems.
  4. Utilizing water recycling systems and modern irrigation technologies in the College’s gardens and green areas.
  • Waste Management

  • Paper Reduction: Promoting electronic archiving systems and digital correspondence to minimize paper waste.
  • Recycling: Documenting the availability of waste segregation bins (paper, plastic, and glass) and cooperation with external organizations for recycling purposes.
  • Hazardous Waste Management: Demonstrating the safe disposal procedures for chemical and biological waste generated in scientific laboratories to ensure environmental protection and prevent pollution.
