The College of Mass Communication, represented by the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit, organized a workshop titled “Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in Media Content Production,” supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Ria Qahtan Al-Hamdani, with the participation of a number of students.

The workshop discussed mechanisms for employing AI tools in media content production through the use of artificial intelligence programs and models as smart assistants across different stages of media production, from idea generation and script writing to editing and pre-publication processing, while emphasizing that the final decision remains in the hands of the media professional.

The session highlighted the importance of integrating AI technologies into media work environments due to their ability to accelerate tasks such as preparing initial drafts, improving content quality in language and style, suggesting engaging headlines, and analyzing audience interaction, contributing to the development and efficiency of media work.

The workshop also addressed the role of AI tools in supporting content creators through data analysis, understanding audience trends, and providing recommendations to enhance media messages according to target audiences, in addition to contributing to the production of diverse content including text, images, and video.
