The College of Mass Communication received a delegation from the Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service, headed by Media Director Mr. Mohammed Fahd, to discuss prospects of joint cooperation and strengthen collaboration between security and academic institutions in the field of media.
During the meeting, the media strategy of the Counter-Terrorism Service was presented, with the delegation assigning the college’s deanship and specialized academic staff to provide expert feedback and professional observations aimed at developing security media discourse and enhancing its effectiveness in addressing current challenges.
Both sides emphasized the importance of employing academic expertise to support institutional media work, particularly in areas related to message formulation, crisis communication, and building public trust, in a way that reflects the true efforts of security agencies in maintaining safety and stability.
The College of Mass Communication expressed its full readiness to cooperate and provide scientific insights that contribute to refining the service’s media strategy in line with modern professional standards and improving overall media performance.
