The College of Mass Communication was crowned champion of the University of Baghdad Tennis Championship after securing first place in the women’s category through an outstanding performance by student Reham Abbas, while student Ali Basim finished second in the men’s category, adding a new sporting achievement to the College’s record of success.
The women’s team claimed the title following an impressive performance by Reham Abbas, who demonstrated outstanding skill and composure in the decisive matches, leading the College to the top of the podium and securing the championship title.
In the men’s category, Ali Basim delivered a strong competitive performance that reflected determination and perseverance. He finished second after a series of closely contested matches marked by strong competition and professionalism, reaffirming the College’s distinguished presence across the different categories of the championship.
Following the conclusion of the competition, the Dean of the College of Mass Communication welcomed the winning students and praised their outstanding sporting achievements. He emphasized that the accomplishment reflects the College’s continued support for student activities and its commitment to developing well-rounded university students who combine academic excellence with sporting achievement.
