The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad began administering the joint examination today, Sunday, in cooperation with a number of private colleges under approved academic twinning agreements, with direct supervision from the College administration and specialized academic committees.
The joint examination is part of efforts to strengthen academic rigor and harmonize academic standards between public and private higher education institutions, contributing to the development of media education outcomes and the enhancement of academic performance.
The College completed comprehensive organizational and logistical preparations, including preparing examination halls and providing an appropriate environment for students. Academic and administrative committees were also formed to ensure that the examination process proceeds smoothly and is conducted with accuracy and efficiency.
Prof. Dr. Ammar Tahir Mohammed, Dean of the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad, said that “the joint examination represents an important step toward strengthening academic partnerships with private colleges and promoting unified academic standards that ensure fairness and equal opportunities for students.” He added that “the twinning program contributes to exchanging expertise and developing the educational process in line with the requirements of modern education.”
He further emphasized that the College will continue to support joint academic initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of media education and strengthening the institution’s standing at both the local and national levels.
