The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad organized a specialized training course on artificial intelligence (AI) for faculty members from its academic departments, as part of the “Masar Mutajaddid” project, implemented in cooperation with France Médias Monde under a cooperation agreement between the two parties.
The course was delivered by trainer Jean Al-Shaib, who addressed topics related to AI applications in media work and the potential use of AI tools to enhance professional and educational practices in line with the digital transformations taking place in the media sector.
The course is part of the cooperation programs between the College of Mass Communication and France Médias Monde, which aim to strengthen faculty members’ capabilities and keep pace with technological developments in media, thereby supporting teaching and training across the College’s academic departments.
This initiative aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, by enhancing faculty members’ skills and expanding their knowledge of modern technologies and their applications in education and media.
