The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Media, University of Baghdad, organized a course titled “The State Employees’ Discipline Law,” presented by Dr. Ikhlas Hameed Hamza, and attended by the college staff.
The three-day course aimed to highlight the most important administrative and criminal procedures related to violations of laws and regulations, and the penalties that can be imposed on employees under the State Employees’ Discipline Law.
It addressed the duties imposed on employees to perform their work correctly and discussed the prohibitions that employees must avoid according to Article 5 of the State Employees’ Discipline Law, and the penalties stipulated in Article 8 of the same law in case of any violations.
This training course is part of a series of programs and training courses offered by the College of Media to develop the skills and capabilities of employees in various fields and to enhance their positive role in society.
It is worth noting that the State Employees’ Discipline Law was enacted to grant ministers and department heads the necessary powers to impose prescribed penalties to ensure the smooth operation of state apparatuses in accordance with the requirements of executing their assigned tasks.
