training workshop titled “Using English in Digital Media.” The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Haneen Qasim Saeed and attended by a number of faculty members and students. It is part of the unit’s activities aimed at developing media communication skills and enhancing the effectiveness of digital content in foreign languages.

The workshop addressed the importance of English in the digital media environment and its role in expanding target audiences and increasing professional reach on international platforms. The lecturer also covered key media vocabulary and common terms used in digital journalism and social media, with practical applications for writing news and interactive content in English.

The Assistant Lecturer Haneen emphasized that contemporary journalists are no longer confined by geographical or linguistic boundaries. She noted that proficiency in foreign languages contributes to enhancing credibility and openness to global media experiences. She encouraged participants to apply their language skills in producing digital content that keeps pace with technological advancements.
