The Radio and Television Department at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, enhanced the practical skills of its students by conducting intensive applied training sessions as part of the Radio and Television Program Presentation course. The training was held under the direct supervision of Dr. Adel Abdulrazzaq Al-Ghariri, utilizing the College’s modern specialized studios and laboratories.
These training sessions were organized within the department’s ongoing efforts to strengthen applied education and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and professional practice. Students were introduced to the fundamentals of professional presentation, radio and television scriptwriting, voice control, and body language, in addition to developing skills in interview management and effective interaction with the camera and microphone.
The applied classes featured realistic simulations of the media work environment, contributing to the refinement of students’ abilities and boosting their self-confidence in a manner consistent with the demands of the media labor market and in line with the latest developments in content production.
Through these high-quality training activities, the Radio and Television Department at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, reaffirms its commitment to graduating qualified media professionals equipped with practical skills and hands-on experience, capable of demonstrating distinguished professional performance in radio and television media institutions both inside and outside Iraq.
